The question should not be "Who won the 2020 election?" That's too easy for them to duck. The question should be, especially to Clayton and Blanche, "Who was president in 2020 when all of this foreign interference, vote rigging and fraud occurred? And why didn't he do anything to prevent it?" Watch their little pinheads explode as they try to lie their way out of that one...

Follow up with 'Who was president when Trump was elected twice?'

Peter's avatar

I never thought about that. How did Obama and Biden rig the election against the Democratic candidate? Such devious acts.... /s

Al Keim's avatar

Yeah, the tricky bastid democrats managed to rig the republican senate and house victories too! Diafukinbolical!!!

That's a great question.

Ossoff skewered that little punk yesterday!

JoJoFromJerz's avatar

Hey SURE did!!

Anne Fletcher-Jones's avatar

He did, didn’t he! Let’s hope the man doesn’t get confirmed.

Andy P, Los Angeles's avatar

It was painful to watch.

David's avatar

He sure did. Just amazing he was so arrogant that he 1. Would not say Biden won 2. Didn't remember the assault on voting records in Georgia. Just a Trump sycophant,so sad,a well educated guy has to vbe so subservient to a " Nazi"

He's a rock star!!!

Once again, Jo, thanks for the wonderful overview. Clayton's performance (and Blanche's) was for an audience of one. Their spineless groveling to the Madman in Charge absolutely says "unfit for public office." Much less a position involving national security. As to whatever you're being hit with, I hope there's a way that we can help. I consider you a national treasure.

Anne Fletcher-Jones's avatar

Amen to that‼️‼️‼️‼️😀

Thank you so much!!! I am humbled by your kind words!!!

JoJo dear, you are a masterful, marvelous wordsmith; bombastic, beautifully descriptive, amazingly creative render of truth. Truthful words that make me laugh, cry, revel in, and echo or sync with your humorous anger, distress, understated outrage and lovely spirit. Keep up the great writing, young lady. Enjoy you every single day!

can i please bottle this response and sip from it whenever I am feeling low??

Ditto, Wendy! Looking for the right words and you filled them in!

As a 40-year-long former member of the intelligence community, I am offended by this nomination. I wouldn't hire anyone as stupid as Clayton. And if someone else did, I would fire his ass. I wouldn't trust this guy with the combination to my son's locker.

Thomas Hobbes's avatar

I agree the fundamental lack of integrity is disqualifying. There is also the law that says extensive intelligence and national security experience is mandatory for this position. Being a lawyer who sometimes talked to the intelligence community doesn't count.

Keep strong, JoJo….many of us value your missives and missiles aimed at the bullshit flowing daily. Truth Laid Bare, you Dare and we Care!

Fred Elig's avatar

Clayton (and Blanche) both “responded” appallingly, and disqualified themselves. Voters need to remove any elected official who votes to confirm either candidate.

Joan MacLeod's avatar

What a choice you either get Clayton or keep Pulte and both are Trump sycophants. Ossoff was awesome not letting him off the hook and showing people exactly who he is and what he'll do for Trump.

steve's avatar

Russianpublicans will confirm him anyway. The open coup continues. Billionaires own them. Democracy Dies in GOP!

Wayne Kolweier's avatar

Well said. I’m angry too. So frustrated with these unqualified Trump loyalists. Can’t wait until November. Things have got to change 🇺🇸

Anne Fletcher-Jones's avatar

The trouble with sycophants, especially when it comes to security and not telling the president what he needs to know, is that some enemy somewhere, perhaps one he fervently believes to be a friend, could plot to attack his family and succeed. What if whoever managed to persuade him not to fly in the Qatari jet had failed and it had been downed by a missile? Is tRump so oblivious to his own safety that he would want cowardly toadies not to warn him of possible danger just so his ego wouldn’t be hurt? His stupidity is beyond comprehension!

David A. Rives's avatar

Yeah, but what about the bloodshot eyes, indicating, perhaps, a prolonged period of heavy drinking; perhaps a LIFETIME of heavy drinking! I would think Republicans—who themselves get drunk every night—would consider that an OUTSTANDING reason for confirming this POS!

Robot Bender's avatar

He and Whiskey Pete should get along well. Hic.

Andy P, Los Angeles's avatar

Kash as well.

And let's not forget Steve Bannon.

Also: I learned, from a reliable source, that George H. W. Bush never went to bed sober a single night during his entire four years in the White House!

Debby Griffiths's avatar

To be fair, he had to put up with Reagan for a very long time?

LOL! See, also, my further comment

Yes to all that! 🙌🏽

Another great job of exposing those treasonous sycophants and mindless loyalists. I'm truly able to maintain some semblance of sanity thanks to you!!!
