Paper Towel Trump doesn’t give a damn.

Lying his face off while using human pain for political gain.

Donald Trump is a sociopath, example infinity.

As of this moment, 115 people have died as a result of Hurricane Helene. That grim number is certain to grow.

Whole towns have been flattened. Communities wiped out. Homes, businesses, schools — all gone. The scale of the devastation is unimaginable.

The people there are reeling. Surrounded by pain, suffering and seemingly insurmountable loss. Their faces etched with shock and disbelief. Their disoriented minds frantically searching the horizon for something, anything they recognize, as they attempt to navigate the landscape of a once intimately familiar world now rendered alien and unknown.

Their whole lives have been reduced to unrecognizable, unrecoverable remnants of scattered debris. Their life’s work, their memories, turned to refuse in an instant.

A catastrophic reminder of nature’s unpredictability and the fragility of human life.

It’s not just the physical belongings that have been stripped from them, it’s not just the brick, wood and steel bearing the scars of the water and the winds. Their sense of security is now shaken too, if not taken away entirely. The inescapable vulnerability they’re feeling follows them like a shadow as they wander through the daze of an unthinkable disaster and try to grapple with the new reality of what was and is no longer.

President Biden and Vice President Harris have been all over this crisis. Making sure the people on the ground have what they need. Giving them the space that they need.

Respecting them and all they have lost enough to know that right now, those folks down there have to grieve together. They have to lean on each other. They have to work together to reclaim what they can of the lives they once knew while facing a fearful future of profound uncertainty at the same time.

And what pray tell does Donald Trump do? What does the sociopathic psychopath who threw paper towels to those who lost everything after a hurricane leveled Puerto Rico do? What does the motherfucker who golfed during the worst of the pandemic do?

That flaccid, fluorescent, rabid, nuclear-waste eating fucking vulture, shows up and puts on the “Me, me, me” show against a backdrop of immense human suffering.

That sick and twisted shitstain rolls in wearing his stupid fucking hat, and his stupid fucking suit and his stupid fucking tie, and his stupid fucking face, and he makes all of it, ALL of it — about himself.

As. Per. Usual.

And there he is. The former divider in chief. Setting up a podium from which to spew his particular brand of poison. Inserting his sociopathy in a place where shared grief is bringing all sorts of people together. Neighbors who may have once fought over politics are uniting amidst the devastation.

And what does Trump do? He shows up and makes it about politics. He makes it about himself. He attacks the president and the vice president and lies about the help they have been providing.

Because he’s a scumbag. And at the risk of redundancy, he’s also a psychopathic sociopath who does not give a single solitary flying fuck about anyone on this planet, other than himself.

He’s physically incapable of caring.

A few weeks ago, he said that if Gavin Newsom doesn’t do what he wants him to do, he won’t help the people of California with wildfires.

When he was an office, governors in need of FEMA disaster aid were expected to beg him for it or ask him nicely.

He did the same psychopathic shit during Covid. Governors like JB Pritzker had to flatter him just to get motherfucking masks for the people of his state.

And we know that he and Jared Kushner actually discussed letting people in blue states die from Covid to help him politically.

He’s a fucking madman.

One who went to disaster stricken Georgia, diverting critical resources away from the people who live there need the help, so he could stand there and divide them in their time of most need.

Look, this ain’t new. Republicans are pushing the same tired propaganda playbook they ran with Maui and East Palestine.

But here are the facts:

Joe Biden signed the disaster declarations even before the storm hit to make sure that there would be no delay and goods and services. Brian Kemp said he spoke with the President who promised him every single thing that he needed. South Carolina’s Governor said the same.

There are 3300 FEMA personnel on the ground, 5500 national guards from 11 states and search and rescue from 19 states.

So the ridiculous insinuation that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are just sitting on a beach somewhere sipping Mimosas while the states suffer is patently false. Especially so when they are clearly giving all the states impacted what they need, NO MATTER what party they belong to, and showing up when it is appropriate.

So many of us are praying for the people impacted by this storm.

Donald Trump is preying on them.

As he always does.

And it’s time we finally put a fucking stop to it.

Once and for all.
