At the age of seven I had a PhD vocabulary and a genius in abstract mathematics and could not do school because I was slothful and I attended English Protestant School in Cote des Neiges where Kamala Harris and Leonard Cohen attended the same Protestant schools and spoke a foreign language called English. I was slothful but the harder I tried the more slothful I became.
I was reading Shakespeare and soiling my diapers, we didn't have television till I was six and failing kindergarten. I am not a New Yorker but I have lots of family in another country from cousins to a great grandchild with ages from 100 to two and I am sore afraid for them. It is called empathy. I've been drunk twice in my 78 years. The first time was because I didn't know better and the second time was because I knew enough to get pissed drunk where I could do no harm and help was there to take care of me. I know alcohol from the outside because drinking makes me sick and my cardiologist put me on a GLP after a cardiac episode that was never explained except through computer analysis. It makes sick and shitting and vomiting all day ain't my idea of fun. I am having the most interesting of lives. I am living in the most interesting of times.
My wife taught Chicago Style Thesis writing. My wife's master's degree in in science education at Chicago where there is no longer a Faculty of Education. Pope Leo attended Chicago a university where education is not for those who know everything about everything. Joanne, I got a copy of my birth certificate just by writing and sending the fee. That is in northern California and they are efficient. I got the birth certificate when I got my Passport. I just saved it. It and my expired passport are on the front of my refrigerator.
Allison, I have a morning routine. My cat Terror usually wakes me. He wakes me because he wants to be fed. So I feed all 3 of my cats. Two are indoors. Sammie does not really like the kitty door and has about 4 inches of fur, which keeps her warm. She comes in through the front door. And when I go out to feed my wood furnace, she goes back out and then either comes in when I do, or stays out if she decides its warm. Yesterday at 23 degrees, she came in. Today, at 31 degrees she stayed out. Merry, the 11 month old kitten, was outside playing and keeping her company.
The wood I burn is leftover from the lumber industry. They cut trees and use the trunk to cut oak beams. There is a guy who haul to the sawmills all week and then hauls loads of limbs to people like me on weekends and holidays. Otherwise they just pile them and burn them. What a waste.
How his tariff thing got this far is just jaw-dropping. A high school kid with an Econ 101 class under their belt could see the glaring holes in this plan.
