That wasn’t a “town hall” it was a trump rally

Holy Fucking shit, CNN. We knew it was going to be bad… but that was just embarrassing. You called that a “town hall”.

The only thing missing from the usual trump cult rally in a dusty field in the middle of Nowhere, Texas was the double fisted jerk and twist to YMCA. And to be honest, I’m a little surprised he didn’t just start doing this spastic old man thinks he’s cool shit right there on the damn stage.

The fact that they even called that thing a “town hall” is ridiculous on its face.

A town hall by definition:

Town hall meetings, also referred to as town halls or town hall forums, are a way for local and national politicians to meet with their constituents either to hear from them on topics of interest or to discuss specific upcoming legislation or regulation.

That sure as shit was not what that shit show was last night. First of all, let’s start with the “constituents” component. There was ONE… ONE person in the entire audience who did NOT vote for donald trump. ONE. And unsurprisingly, the audience wasn’t exactly a tapestry either.

And the weren’t there to talk about “upcoming legislation or regulation” they were there to cheer for their rotting gourd god & jeer anything and anyone he wanted them to.

They were there because that’s exactly what trump wanted people to see. To make it look as if they were some cross section of the population when it fact it was basically a bunch of people who’ve worked for him, currently work for him, or want to someday work for him, and the one fucking guy who didn’t vote for him.
