Well, those coal miners will eventually develop "black lung disease" (Coal worker's pneumoconiosis) from breathing coal dust (Grandpa was a coal miner, and had he not died in a mine cave in PA in 1962, he would have died from black lung according to his autopsy). Trump and his acolytes have shut down the labs studying this disease and cutting benefits to slow the progression of the disease that will eventually kill them. Basically, "do this for us and we will have your back", to "Eff you suckers, we had our fingers crossed". The same type of things they're pulling on veterans, too.

1) Trump isn't running your country. His dementia is so far advanced, that he is like a three year old child.
2) Trump isn't a strong man. As you said the other day, your elder brother and father were strong men. Trump and Hegseth are weak, cowardly men. Strong men protect the weak and innocent. Only cowards and bullies behave like Trump and his cabinet of sycophants.
3) Your allies haven't just bailed, we have slammed the door shut on America and put up fortifications to keep America at arms length.
America has become a complete shit show. What was once a great country, even recently under Biden, is now a complete car crash of a country. No one in their right mind, would surround themselves with doltards. Confucius said, " if you are the smartest person in the room, you are in the wrong room". If you want your country to thrive and prosper, you surround yourself with the best and brightest people, even if they make you feel inadequate.
I truly feel sorry for the ordinary people of America. From what I've heard, they are great, friendly people. They deserve much better than the shit end of the stick, Trump and his shower of shit is dishing out to them.
