But he didn’t obsess over those documents like Gollum over a ring just for the sport of it.

In all his awfulness, I feel like sometimes we overlook just how endlessly stupid trump really is.

Because he is really, really Fucking stupid.

And I’m not just talking about him thinking Nipple and Button were the names of countries. Or that Charles was the Prince of Whales and not Wales. Or that Colorado bordered Mexico. I’m not talking about him describing a Hurricane as “extremely wet from the standpoint of water”, or the fact that he bragged about being able to identify an elephant, or that he stared directly at an eclipse & suggested that forest fires could be prevented if there were only a little more raking.

I’m not even just talking about the fact that he asked about injecting bleach or whined about protesters throwing BAGS of soup. (Ok that one is still funny).

He’s so unendingly stupid, so devoid of both common sense and self control, that he actually boasted about having highly classified national security documents to a bunch of biographers, WHILE HIS OWN STAFF MEMBER WAS RECORDING THE CONVERSATION.

“We looked at some. This was him. This wasn't done by me, this was him. All sorts of stuff — pages long, look. Wait a minute, let’s see here. I just found, isn’t that amazing? This totally wins my case, you know. Except it is, like, highly confidential. Secret. This is secret information. Look, look at this. This was done by the military and given to me.”
