our son was going to work on a project with a guy who was supplying the lumber and other things..nice guy, good on getting things done in a timely manner. The guy felt that wearing a mask was a waste of time, and constantly said, "I'll show those libtards! I don't wear no mask, I don't need one!!"...about the time the project was going to start, the guy called & said he felt like a cold was coming on, maybe wait a day later to get started...he went in the ER on a Saturday with a "bad cold"; by Monday he had the start of COVID and within 2 days had passed away. Big strong guy. Healthy as a horse. BUT. But he felt that anything the "the libtards are promoting" wasn't anything he wanted to be a part of. Wearing a mask was a waste of time, he "knew better!"... He's gone, his family is now scattered all over the East Coast, and people think Little Donnie should be back in the white house...What. The. Hell.....
Very well said Jo. In my opinion, you need to be on the president’s campaign staff. I can’t think of anyone who could get out his message any clearer. Go tell the people who don’t subscribe to your Substrack just how much better off we are now, and who is responsible for that improvement. As always, great job.
Clearly, TFG was better off before he ran for POTUS than he is today. It was a huge mistake for him to run for office. He exposed himself to scrutiny, a self-inflicted wound which he keeps inflamed with his changing explanations, constant lies, and high profile crimes — 4 indictments so far. He isn’t the only casualty of his mistakes — so many have suffered and died because of that man. But he could have continued quietly “crime-ing” (cheating tradesmen, sexually harassing and berating women and hanging around with his like-minded cronies) and we would be none the wiser.
With the media falling over themselves recently asking all of us whether we're "better off today than we were four years ago", the Democratic side is arguing that we are far better off... spouting all kinds of stats about jobs created, the Dow Jones Average, inflation reduction etc.. Of course the other side ignores all this and claims we have fallen into a pit of libtard fascism: the very thing they plan on implementing in 2025 (except the libtard part).
This made my mind wander back to that iconic day when DFF stood like a defiant dictator on the balcony of the White House, and ripped his mask from his miserable puss-face for all to see that he had beat Covid! He was not only a he-man... he was THE he-man.
Going back to the media's question, given Covid was an effective killer back then, I think it's fair to say that about 150 million Americans, and God knows how many people across the planet, are far, far, FAR worse off than they were four years ago.
The reason: because that (insert Jeffrey Teidrich's paragraph-long adjectives and descriptors) POS, should have terminated at that point. Unfortunately, he has spread his havoc globally to the point the US is on the brink of civil war, if not extinction of it's being.
We all have collectively been tortured on a daily basis, watching an individual - and his sycophants and brain-dead followers - enter a china shop and just start smashing everything in sight.
