As I hear more of what diaperload says at each mini-rally or staged presser, all I can think of is that the more he rants with increasingly outrageous shit, the more he believes he is losing. Or is it the other way around? And the more he shits the bed verbally, the more he loses voters from the middle he previously could count on. Oh, and his base is also slowly getting smaller. I had to download an app and I saw truth social had only 116,000 members! That’s pocket change. I heard membership was dropping but that number can’t be sustaining trumps antisocial media app.
They have more members than that - there are over a million members. You’re talking daily average of active users. Still good news. Way, way, WAY less than Twitter. Definitely a money-loser. Surprise, surprise…not.
I have to say, that I have yet to watch much of Little Donnies "press" appearances because the truth is, his voice affects me like fingernails on a chalkboard - if it was an irritating voice I maybe could stand to listen. But his voice is just as irritating to me as a mosquito buzzing around my right ear at 3:25 a.m. ~ That said, it's almost like watching the proverbial train wreck right in front of you, seeing him literally blathering to people in his rallys' or as the other day, his "press" apparance ~ You want to look away from the disaster that will happen darn near immediately, and you know it's going to be horrific, but MAN!, you still watch each amazing second of the disaster, because its nearly impossible to look away. I can't for the life of me, think of him lasting much longer mentally before having to be placed in some hospital setting for his own safety - My husband has dementia, so I know what it's like to hear & see somebody slowly losing their mental sharpness ~ Donnie is way past anything I'm experiencing with hubs for the last 10 years ~ He is truly unfit to run for President of the United States
The very reason I had to stop watching any and all televised news was because of Donald trumps voice and the outrageous lies he tell in a whim and knowing that he was saying those things, at the time, as president of the United States. I wasn’t metaphorically sick I was physically sick until I went cold turkey even my favorite news program that I thought I couldn’t live without, Morning Joe. I try to watch once in a while but of course they can’t avoid reporting every day on the disaster that is Donald Trump.
I was still watching however when Trump called into the show every morning before the 2019 election and Joe threatened to cut Donald’s mike, Donald didn’t believe he would do it and right in the middle of one of his rants Joe cut him off, he called back once but never again after that-I thoroughly enjoyed that but that was while Don was still in the “he can’t win he’s a joke stage.” When every cable and network news became all about him, because they had to, I stopped. I did though watch the election returns and the Jan 6 attempted coop at the capital. I keep up through JoJo and a few others and the AP. That way there’s no talking heads especially stupid ones and on these social media sites we get to call them out and I don’t have to throw furniture at my TV.
Someone on one of the news YT channels I watch said something interesting about donOLD.
He said, "Trump lies, but to him it's not a lie. His pathology is such that if he thinks it's a good thing to say, he then internalizes it as the truth, whether or not it is in reality. So to him, it's the truth simply because he says it."
And that makes a ton of sense when you think about how he says, XYZ, it's reported far and wide as false, and he simply doubles down the lie.
The man is a walking bag of utter desperation. His trials aren't being truly dismissed, and he knows he's losing across the board. When even Republicans are stumping for Harris/Walz, you know you're in hot water. He just refuses to outwardly act like he is, but his body language gives it away.
