Yeah never mind all the retribution against political enemies. He's systematically trying to erase, or re-write, his biggest embarrassments: Jan 6, Covid, not deleting Obamacare, the unfinished Wall, wrecking the USPS, DOJ and FBI once and for all. He also overstates his popular vote win as a landslide/mandate since he lost the vote twice before.
I’m trying so hard to stay positive but it’s getting harder everyday, with each new realities unfolding. The idea that my 27 year old daughter, who is a social worker with tons on student debt pays more taxes than the orange shitstain and his entire cabinet. Please, please , someone tell me that there will be a day when all these cult members will realize they have been duped. Will it happen before the mid terms, before the 2028 election, or will it never happen? Has the ship sailed too far? Is our democracy lost forever? Will he/they never leave until a civil war starts? I’m so sorry for my four kids and their futures. I’m educated I know history and I know that there are ebbs and flows but this time I just have this sinking feeling inside that this time we just might be lost. The 250 year old experiment might’ve just failed.

I'm 67 and I'm disgusted with my government. They're really blowing it and are inadvertently, or intentionally, heading everybody toward a civil war. I don't know about you, sir, but I'm too old to fight. I'm a veteran but too old now.

Dave sez: Your posting is a PSA reminder that NOW is the time for ALL of us who want to triumph over the next 4 years do to what ALL marginalized groups (Black, Hispanic, Indigenous, LGBTQ+, Asian, disabled, etc.) have been doing for the last, oh, 250 plus years: stand strong, don't give in (or "surrender in advance"), do what you can do (or are willing to do) and most important-keep our eyes on the prize. It won't come easy, but together we can get it done.

Above all, they are fearful of our derision, our gut laughter, and the truth and consequences (and I’m not referring to the town or the old game show)! The more we know, the more that is consistently exposed just may save our nation AND our sense of truth and possibly our humanity.
Pardoning the Jan. 6 criminals may be an invitation to others who support him to have no worries about transgressing federal laws because their pardons are already dangling from his fingers. So go ahead and take whatever action you feel is necessary to stop the great replacement in its tracks because you won't have to do time in a federal lockup.
